i was raised on UNIX, good old System 5, not Berkeley and then succumbed to the Borg and used PCs for the next 17 years. And then I saw the light. UNIX reborn as OS X with the best GUI since the AT&T UNIX PC (or maybe the TI Explorer?). And I have been hooked ever since. One remaining PC in my house and the other 5 are Macs and my days as a sysadmin for my family have all but gone. All the old negativity about Macs are gone; they make nice with Windows networks and they run all the typical business applications. The only issue I have seen to date is that occasionally bullets in PowerPoint get munged, but that's a small sacrifice to pay for eternal love. Did anyone ever stare at your Dell Latitude with envy? <grin>
