Hi, my name is Eyal Gever and I am extremely interested in the fusion of technology and art and by that enabling an advanced medium of visual expression.

Please scroll down to read/see some of my work:

I am the founder and CEO of Gizmoz

At Gizmoz we are blending technology, sociology, and design to create multimedia, multi-user social services. Our goal is to bring the power of "Pixar" to the internet by enabling web, IM and mobile social users to create their own digital personalities that enhance their ability to express themselves and communicate on their choice of digital device.

Users can choose and personalize characters from a huge collection of famous people, mesmerizing cartoon characters, bizarre animals, smiles etc

Also our users can create their own 3D Talking Headz from one face photo taken and sent from the user mobile phone or webcam to Gizmoz Head maker server. The head maker server generates automatically a realistic 3D model of any human head, together with an inbuilt 'muscle' system, which allows not only the ability for authentic facial expressions and speech, but also the ability to 'deform' the head into caricature-type poses. The result is an extremely fun cool looking Talking Head with animated lip movements, facial expressions, and gestures to be automatically aligned and synchronized to real time voice or converts text into lifelike spoken audio using TTS.

We soon plan to open our accoutrement based digital marketplace and offer both "official" and user-created virtual outfits and accessories among other things.

My Art and Research:

Beside developing Gizmoz I am very interested in creating 21th century sculptures. For the last few years I had been working on few art projects using my own proprietary 3D techniques and different rapid prototyping output techniques.

Below are few images from my ornamentation and disintegration art projects both using rapid prototyping output techniques and Augmented Reality techniques for the fabrication of elaborate objects and sculptures.

Disintegration Objects: The process I developed to create these objects was simulating the destruction of structures in response to catastrophic forces.

Some of the Disintegration Objects works below are exhibited currently in The Israel Museum, Jerusalem in an exhibition named: "The Dream Makers: Design Meets Technology"

Spherical Blast:

Blast 1

Cube Blast: Inside Out Blast

Blast 2

Collision:

Blast 3

The Images below are few examples showing 2 sculptures I had created with support rods that were generated automatically during the blast in order to support the disintegrated debris by recording each debris trajectory.
