Kinnernet is an invitation only, completely open source camp on the shore of the Kinneret lake (The Sea of Galilee) in Israel.
Based on Oriley's Foo Camp, Kinnernet brings geeks, artists, thinkers and inventors together for 3 days, in order to give like-minded individuals the opportunity to gather informally to discuss topics and concepts that are of interest to them, in an open, non-business, experimental ways.
We'll share thoughts, works-in-progress, show off the latest toys and hacks, and tackle challenging problems in fields such as software development, internet culture, site building, blogs, forums, social networks, chat rooms, instant messaging, P2P, search engines, web services, WiFi, open source, email, infrastructure services, cellular services, computer games, interactive TV, video on the web, VOIP, technological trends, gadgets, security, interactive design and more.
Together we'll try to figure out where the internet is going, what are the prevailing trends, and for three whole days we will get back from online chat to the vanishing art of face-to-face conversation.
