Fascinated by communication, sign systems and human behaviour, whether through life, art, science or business.
This fascination led me through my career, studies and online activities.
I like finding clarity in complex situations and trying to bridge theory and practice, form & meaning.
I tend to evangelise things I'm really into.
Connected since 1993 (that's before browsers), recently celebrated my "customer experience bar mitzvah". I spend my days on marketing communications, branding and strategy projects, and my nights on internet content projects (mostly) in hebrew.
By day:
Just completed my first year back in London, mostly with strategic branding agency Brandinstinct. I was involved with many israeli web companies and startups over the last couple of years - was involved with 5 of the 15 companies on the last USA israeli web tour, and 2 of the sponsors.
Previous to this relocation completed two years consulting in israel: Strauss, ynet (strategist in residence), Tadiran-Ampa (Amcor), Design Centre, Genesis Partners, Matchnet (Now Spark - Cupid & JDate), Mapa, Netex and the new gaming and digital culture programs at the interdisciplinary school, Beit Berl.
By night (over the last year):
- Kept working on Concept & Notes. I'm also still writing the Collective newsletter (now in its 8th year), although it has become a bi-weekly publication due to being so busy.
- Prepared talks on on marketing & online communities, the challenges of branding in interactive environments, and... comics.
- Wrote a column for The-Marker's women magazine on the contribution of women to the web.
- Kept developing two blogs.
